The book to read for the June meeting is The Seven Daughter's of Eve, by Bryan Sykes - Library reading group copies are available.
The Afternoon Tea at the Mill House Cafe was very nice, although we only had a small turn out, mainly due to having to have the meeting much earlier in the day than usual.
With three tiered cake stands of sandwhiches, scones, with butter, jam and clotted cream, followed by petit-four, our World Book Night discussion got underway.
We'd all read books from the World Book Night Selection with Mr Loverman by Bernadine Evaristo, The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra, by Vaseem Kahn, and Raven Black, by Ann Cleeves, all earning high praise.
Next month will be hosted by Sue, at her home. The address is available upon request.
