Next month we will be walking while we talk books, another early start though to make sure we don't get locked into the carpark.
Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on leads and unfortunately, there are no toilets, so please be prepared.
Stout shoes and weather proof clothing (possibly also insect repellent) and we'll walk at a gentle pace.
The book to read is Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont by Elizabeth Taylor.
This month at Sue's house, we discussed The Seven Daughters of Eve, by Bryan Sykes.
This non-fiction book was heavy on the science, especially at the start, but overall had a positive reception in the group. Not everyone managed to finish it, but most people were planning to continue reading after the meeting.
